Established in 2003, Combat Science: Warrior Arts of Asia is a Filipino martial art (Arnis/Kali/Eskrima) and trauma-informed self-defense school located in Toronto, Canada.
Combat Science’s core curriculum includes training in: skill building (personal safety/self defense, traditional forms, impact and edged weapons, and hand to hand combat); cardiovascular development, strength enhancement, flexibility and agility; and Filipino culture and heritage.
Our FMA classes consist of warm-ups and stretching, cardio enhancement, coordination drills, power development and set curricula from various styles of Arnis, ensuring participants experience both skill building and physical conditioning. Beginners are welcome and all classes and instruction are adapted for students at all skill levels

KNOW MOREEmpowerment self-defense refers to a set of strategies, skills, and techniques designed to empower individuals, especially marginalized groups such as women, to protect themselves physically, emotionally, and mentally.
KNOW MORETo foster and promote the understanding of Filipino culture through dedicated practice of its native martial arts, the FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) or Arnis/Kali/Eskrima, along with practical self-defense skills through a trauma-informed lense.
Combat Science also aims to help develop students skills in personal safety, and self-defense techniques through the FMA along with trauma-informed teachings. Since our inception in 2003, Combat Science has proudly assisted numerous community groups who have benefited significantly from their exposure to Filipino Martial arts and culture and trauma-informed self-defense.
