Led by GM Laura Armstrong (CEO, ESD Canada) and SM JB Ramos (Director, ESD Canada), this initiative goes beyond physical techniques — it’s about confidence, boundaries, and the power of choice.

What is ESD?
Empowerment Self-Defense equips individuals—especially women and marginalized communities—with practical tools to recognize, prevent, and interrupt violence using verbal, emotional, and physical strategies.
